Cancellation or Withdrawal from the University
Students withdrawing from the University should contact the Senior Director of the Office of Student Affairs at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. An official withdrawal constitutes an honorable dismissal from the University and may facilitate readmission.
A withdrawal occurs when you, as an enrolled student, decide you must leave the University in a given term once the term begins and you have attended or participated in at least one class. A cancellation results in removal of all enrollments for the term and no record of enrollment appears on your official transcript. The University will only cancel registration for students who have not attended any classes in a term.
A Withdrawal has several important potential impacts that may apply to you including Academic, Financial, and Campus Services. The Office of the University Registrar has additional information about an academic withdrawal.
