Community Culture
The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy aspires to accelerate new thinking and ideas in education, research, and practice that improve human health worldwide.
We strive towards this vision through our school values of welcoming, equity, commitment, accountability, respect, and excellence (WE CARE). Members of our school community are responsible for promoting a culture of connection and belonging while appreciating and valuing others to ensure opportunities for all.
To ensure we uphold our values, the Community Culture and Climate Improvement (CCCIT) Tool is designed to promote a culture of inclusion and belonging in our School community by identifying areas for improvement and growth. The purpose of this tool is not to be punitive or intervene, but rather to capture instances that contradict the school’s mission and values.
