Guidelines for Student Organization Career Programming

Student organizations must coordinate all careerfocused events with Career Services well in advance and avoid conflicts with major Career Services or University programming.

While student organizations may contact employers and alumni independently, any event or meeting that involves alumni or employers, must be reported to Career Services for guidance and alignment with School and University career efforts. Such events include, but are not limited to recruitment, employer engagement, or alumni participation (such as speakers or panels).  Events should be reported through the Student Senate Room Reservation Form or by emailing Career Services directly at esopcareer@unc.edu . Additional policy details are available on the Career Services Canvas site.
