Audit Policy
Enrollment Policy
Only students officially enrolled in UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy programs are eligible to register for PharmD courses offered by the school, including both required and elective courses. Requests for enrollment in PharmD courses from students who are not officially part of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy programs will be denied. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm their enrollment in the School of Pharmacy program before attempting to register for any PharmD courses. This policy is designed to protect the integrity of the program and ensure that course offerings are prioritized for students actively working toward their PharmD degree at UNC Eshelman.
Policy on Course Auditing in the PharmD Program
The PharmD program at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is designed to provide a rigorous and highly interactive learning environment that prepares students for professional practice in pharmacy. Due to the structured and intensive nature of our curriculum, as well as the emphasis on active participation, we do not permit individuals to audit courses within the PharmD program. This policy ensures that all course participants are fully engaged in the learning process, contributing to and benefiting from the collaborative educational experience. It also upholds the integrity of our program by maintaining a consistent standard of accountability, assessment, and participation for all enrolled students.
